Office Assistant
Nonexempt, 30 hours per week 

Starts at $15-$18 hour depending on experience

Job Summary:

This is a Regular Employee Position that will assist all four of the MVMA Administrators, including the MVMA Executive Director, the Business Manager, the Store Manager, and the Inventory Manager. You will work under the supervision of each for the tasks specifically assigned.

This position involves a variety of clerical and technical duties requiring some independent judgement. Must have good interpersonal communication and customer service skills.

MVMA requires proof of full vaccination for COVID 19 prior to employment.

Job Duties under the supervision of the Business Manager:

· Process new and renewing memberships (preparing letters, stuffing envelopes, prepare for mailing)
· Enter/update membership information in database and Booklog
· File membership applications
· Count and record Trail Guide receipts

Job Duties under the supervision of the Store Manager:

· Replenish store(s) with packing materials, merchandise bags, and other necessary office supplies required for store operations.
· Count and record Trail Guide receipts

Job Duties under the supervision of the Inventory Manager

· Process and ship mail sales on a daily basis
· Assist with receiving and pricing merchandise
· Assisting with stocking store and merchandise transfers
· Assist with data input on Booklog Inventory Control Program

Other Duties as assigned

· Including special projects as needs arise for Executive Director, Business Manager, Store Manager, and Inventory Manager

Basic Job Specifications:

· High school graduate
· Ability to work effectively, orally and in writing; ability to work effectively with co-workers; and a desire to provide superior customer service and satisfaction
· Basic math skills and the ability to operate a calculator.
· Basic computer skills: perform basic word processing, spreadsheet and data base programs.
· Must be able to lift and carry boxes weighing up to 40 pounds.
· Must possess a valid driver’s license.
· Must be bondable.

This position is eligible for paid sick leave and holiday pay.
